▶Objectives
The idea of MAPWISE was developed out of the motivation to promote pupils who are on their path of job orientation to become more self-efficacious, making professions who operate in their neighbourhood more visible and to help make the first steps towards building career networks equally easy for everyone. The consortium develops an app (WP2), which will come alive with tours and gamification elements (WP3) and a valid guide to promote all stakeholders to use and to develop further the app (WP4)
▶Activities
With the user centred approach, we will survey and interview more than 100 key stakeholders about how the app can enrich their career guidance experience. While designing tours (scenarios), adding gamification and job-related points of interest, we will consistently involve the various target groups through test trials and multiplier events. The information gathered in the first months will serve as source for programming the app, design of tours and method behind the pedagogical guide
▶Impact
With MAPWISE we will build a creative way for stakeholders to use the best parts from exploring paths of job orientation in a physical and virtual environment combined. Teachers, companies and other will be able to create tours with specific, informative, and motivational points of interest. (e.g. ‘social jobs near you’). Pupils, trainees, migrants, E+ KA1-participants, regardless of their socio-economic and social networks will be able to explore what their direct neighbourhood hast to offer.
