Objectives

The project aims to improve adult education by developing a comprehensive curriculum and toolkit focusing on environmental sustainability, digital literacy and gender equality. By equipping adult educators with innovative teaching strategies and piloting them with adult learners, we aim to improve adult educators competences in these critical areas, contributing to a more informed, inclusive and sustainable society in line with the EU's strategic objectives.

Activities

The project includes curriculum development, training of trainers (ToT) and pilot implementations to evaluate the effectiveness of the toolkit. Activities include developing educational materials, conducting ToT workshops, piloting the toolkit in real-world settings, collecting feedback and refining the toolkit. These efforts aim to create a scalable, adaptable educational resource, accessible through a Moodle platform, that promotes sustainability, digital literacy and gender equality.

Impact

The results will be a complete curriculum, a well-trained group of adult educators, and valuable lessons learned from pilot courses. The project will produce a scalable, adaptable toolkit for adult educators, accessible via Moodle, to improve teaching practice in environmental sustainability, digital literacy and gender equality. Expected outcomes include increased competence of educators, improved learner engagement and broad applicability of the curriculum across Europe.
