Objectives

The goals include improving the quality of health care and sustainability education, reducing environmental impacts and improving economic performance by developing alternative forms of tourism such as spa tourism that have less impact on ecosystems. The project will benefit the community by encouraging globally aware and socially responsible students in sustainable tourism practices and intercultural understanding.

Activities

The application includes host institutions, updating the curricula of the health, tourism majors and creating course modules with a focus on sustainability. It includes organizing educational sessions and workshops for teachers, students in sustainable care practices. Community involvement through awareness campaigns and outreach initiatives is vital to educating the public in sustainability efforts.

Impact

Outcomes include quality healthcare, reduced environmental impact. Sustainability education integrated into health education benefits future professionals. Community and patient outcomes are improved through sustainable practices. Graduates possess knowledge of sustainable tourism, life skills, intercultural competence, global citizenship and advocate for the promotion of responsible travel and environmental practices.
