โ–ถObjectives

The DEMANDS project has been designed on the basis of providing adequate and strategic training in terms of building intercultural communication competences for low skilled and working age adults from the lignite industry sector. This upskilling and reskilling process addresses the needs of these individuals to successfully manage the energy market transition caused by the European Green Deal and increase their employability and social inclusion.

โ–ถActivities

Short training activities of VET trainers and low skilled (ex)workers from the lignite industry sector, to build their intercultural communication skills, will be organized using ICT tools to facilitate acquisition, assessment and microcredentials issuing. In this vein, an Open Educational Platform will be developed with the integration of all teaching material that will be produced and with an individual assessment toolkit for testing the intercultural communication competencies gained.
