โถObjectives
The objective of this project is to improve the teaching quality of Higher Education Institutions (HEI), enhancing student learning, by providing lecturers with evidence-based strategies to effectively integrate Peer Assessment (PA) into their teaching practices. PA in HEI is a vital tool that transforms the traditional lecturer-student dynamic into a more collaborative, interactive and student-centred learning experience. It fosters critical thinking, collaboration skills, and active learning.
โถActivities
We will carry out a series of interrelated activities: developing a comprehensive handbook on Peer Assessment, conducting targeted training programmes for university professors, facilitating pilot experiences in different academic settings, and widely disseminating the results of the project. These activities are designed to provide educators with practical tools and knowledge, promote innovative teaching practices and foster a collaborative, and more inclusive educational system.
โถImpact
Our project anticipates significant results: a detailed handbook on Peer Assessment, trained educators capable of implementing these teaching strategies, successful pilot experiences across various institutions, and widespread dissemination of findings. Expected results include enhanced teaching quality, improved student engagement and performance, and widespread adoption of Peer Assessment practices, contributing to the promotion of student-centred learning in Higher Education across Europe.
