▶Objectives
The project aims to establish a network of "Houses of Engagement" across European HE institutions, enhancing student skills through social innovation, fostering cross-cultural collaboration, & creating a sustainable ecosystem for social engagement. Objectives include conducting a comprehensive study, establishing physical and virtual Houses in European universities, and developing a guide for widespread implementation, aligning with E+ priorities for active citizenship & innovative HE practices.
▶Activities
-A comprehensive study across European universities that includes University and university students needs assessment. -Establish physical & virtual "Houses of Engagement and More" (HOMEs) in European universities: it includes engagement program creation, facilitation of cross-cultural collaboration among students, facilitators identification, & the creation of a transnational knowledge-sharing platform. -Develop a guide for widespread implementation of "HOMEs" in European HE institutions.
▶Impact
>A comprehensive study on University needs on social engagement activities. >A transnational network of established "Houses of Engagement and Moret" (6 countries + a European one) and a large number of social engagement activities will be carried out. A pool of trained facilitators for social engagement initiatives will be identified. >A comprehensive guide and toolbox for broader implementation of University Houses of Engagement and More. >We will around reach around 2,000 people.
