Empowering Climate Literacy of Learners Through Innovative Teaching Methods
▶Summary
Our project aims to support the growth and advancement of both teachers and learners in various aspects, including education, profession, and personal development. The primary goal is to enhance the quality of education provided in schools regarding climate change, ensuring that students receive comprehensive and effective instruction on this critical topic, which will help them become a pioner in their community in the fight against climate change.
▶Objectives
Our project aims to support the growth and advancement of both teachers and learners in various aspects, including education, profession, and personal development. The primary goal is to enhance the quality of education provided in schools regarding climate change, ensuring that students receive comprehensive and effective instruction on this critical topic, which will help them become a pioner in their community in the fight against climate change.
▶Activities
During the implemention of our project, we will have 4 mobilities. In each mobility, we will have activities that will help us reach the objectives of our project. In Spain, we will have a training activity on innovative methods and strategies to to empowe climate literacy. In France, we will learn about project-based learning and in Italy, we will learn about experiential learning. In Turkey, we will have courses on actionable strategies to adapt a sustainable lifestyles.
▶Impact
We expect our project to; - increase knowledge and skills about climate change among teachers and learners, - promote learning mobility of teachers and learner, - to enhance cooperation among partners to foster a collaborative approach, - to help adopt innovative teaching methodologies and promote a European perspective in teaching practices, - achieve significant improvements in climate literacy education, - foster responsible environmental stewardship and raise awareness in the community.
