IDEES aims to create a learning environment that is caring, inclusive and open to diversity in educational settings from secondary school to university. Traditional teaching methods are not, or are poorly, adapted to the realities of super-diverse societies. The inclusive approach to education enables them to be adjusted to any learning population, while maintaining the level of skills to be developed.

The project creates transferable tools for schools, universities and civil society. The pedagogical tools developed involve the knowledge of learners and teachers and promote inclusion and educational success in a multi-ethnic European context: collective work, colloquium, scientific article, travelling exhibition, guide to good practice, teaching kit, video capsules, participative websites, hybrid training sequences.

The consortium of four universities and a network of associations hopes to improve pedagogical practices based on the values of inclusive education. It will promote academic success by building collaborative relationships and making improvements to the learning and teaching environment. Finally, it will raise awareness among society and decision-makers of the challenges of inclusion, diversity and citizenship.
