The results of the PISA test conducted by the OECD in 2022 revealed a drop in results in more than half of European countries compared with 2018, and revealed their difficulties in mathematics learning. To address this, and based on a pilot conducted by PLAY since 2016, “Let’s PLAY Maths” will create and deploy innovative, sport-based educational content to enhance teachers’ skills in using sport to ultimately facilitate mathematics learning and remediation for 6-9 year-olds.
