Europe urgently needs to preserve its historical, cultural and linguistic heritage as much as it needs to develop a strategy to protect its biodiversity, which is threatened by globalization and the rapid increase of overproduction.By studying situations that vary from one region to another, by making full use of a wide range of cross-disciplinary knowledge & skills, RACINE+ claims that the protection of our Planet & culture will guarantee the sustainable development of individuals and countries

The 145 activities, the 25 mobilities are meant to raise young people's awareness of the environmental & cultural diversity of their local area, as they become conscious of the way they interact, of the need to ensure the sustainability of the individuals, societies, countries they represent. Families are involved in hosting young Europeans, some educational structures are expected to participate in the field activities; courses or conferences are organized and led by multi-sector professionals

Each school collects the work, draws up reports on the activities and assesses their impact on young people. The skills of thinking/communicating in languages, learning methods/tools and citizenship are particularly targeted.The schools exchange information on the methods used to create 3 final teaching booklets on Reflect - Act - Communicate. The many and varied contacts that make up the project are aimed at establishing long-term partnerships with outside contributors
