The VETAssIst project aims to explore the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the realm of vocational education and training (VET), focusing on the work of VET teachers. It aspires to redefine the role of technology in VET by exploring, introducing and advocating the role of AI as a valuable assistant to VET teachers, paying adequate attention to both the potentials and the challenges and risks involved therein.
▶Impact
The outcome of our overview and evaluation of existing AI tools will be published in a multilingual ebook. The multilingual elearning course supporting VET teachers to employ AI tools in their teaching, involving video guidelines, will also be freely available online. Our communication activities will yield tangible results such as podcasts promoting the broader topic of AI in VET, and will contribute to creating synergies between similar initiatives at both national and international level.
