Objectives

-To improve awareness and understanding of climate change,its effects on natural disasters and on human well being amongst the partner organizations and their target groups -To show the pupils and the community that daily activities can collectively make a big difference and that each individual has a role to play in the fight against climate change and be green -To recognize the disproportionate impacts of climate change on low-income communities and communities of color around the world

Activities

There will be four main "Avtivities" which were shared with the partner organizations on their risk of experiencing disaster or vulnerability to extreme natural disasters in their territories. The themes are categorized as in the following; 1. Volcano Has No Villain! Friend and Foe! (ICELAND) 2. Fighters of Fire and Biomass Combustion! (POLAND) 3. An EPIC Response to Floods and Droughts! (ROMANIA) 4. Beat the Quake! (TURKIYE) Each activity will be preceded by local pre-tasks

Impact

Envisaged results are; -Imparting environment education into school curriculums leading by examples in terms of sustainability and being green (gaining new global skills), -Creating opportunities for the pupils' voice by integrating more their priorities/needs on how to adapt the schools in this global environmental challange, -Overcoming the prejudices and injustice for the people and places least responsible for the issue, -Gaining 8 basic skills of 21century and design thinking skill
