The REM project aims to enhance crowdfunding skills and competences among local administrators, as a viable tool for decent job creation, participatory social innovation, as well as boost to sustainable financial planning and entrepreneurship in rural and remote municipalities within the European Union. The initiative embraces and promotes the Osnabrück Declaration principles, the Long-Term Vision for EU’s rural areas, as well as the European Commission's Rural Pact objectives.
