By implementing the project we want to build the capacity of youth educators and partner organizations in working with people with disabilities, bridge the gap between youth workers and people already involved in working with disabilities, train youth workers. We aim at better including youth with disabilities in future Erasmus+ training, mobilities, cooperation and projects, as well as aiming at stressing out the importance of youth work concerning inclusion of groups with fewer opportunities.

We will implement in each partner country: Focus groups, gathering together youth workers and partners with families with professional figures in the field of disabilities in order to present surveys and ask questions Technical visits in the fields aimed at having first-hand experience for partner organisations and youth workers Ultimately, we planned a common training of trainers held in Italy for youth workers with a curriculum about inclusivity of disabilities in Erasmus+ funded projects.

We expect the project to return more trained and skilled youth workers and a handbook and OER to make all the knowledge gathered accessible and to strengthen the use of the course and its future transferability. In addition, we expect with this project to make future Erasmus+ projects and mobilities designed by our newly trained youth workers more sustainable, inclusive and aware about people with disabilities.
