▶Objectives
The “AI-EDU: Building Paths to the Future” project is aimed at adult education institutions and their staff, both teaching and administrative, to improve their knowledge and competencies in AI application in adult education and how AI can transform their teaching processes and organisations as whole, making them more innovative, accessible and up to date with new technological advancements – encouraging higher participation of adults in life-long learning.
▶Activities
The project comprises 4 working packages. The planned activities and results are: • IO1: AI Competency Framework for Digital Transformation Specialist • IO2: Blended learning programme “Transforming learning and organisations: leveraging the power of AI” • Network of digital transformation specialist • 3 focus groups per partner (in total 12) • 1 pilot testing • 4 webinars • 4 Multiplier events • 1 final online conference
▶Impact
The project foresees several impactful outcomes. Firstly, a standardized AI Competency Framework will create a common understanding of essential competencies, knowledge and attitudes for digital transformation specialists, fostering a unified approach within the field. Moreover, ALE institutions and educators will learn to leverage AI for personalized learning, flexible pathways, and efficient processes, ultimately attracting and supporting more adult learners in their lifelong journeys.
