• Improve teachers’ insights in evidence-informed design principles for effective teaching methods in higher education. • Contribute to the quality and impact of continuous professional development (CPD) initiatives for higher education teachers. • Harness the use of digital technologies in extended CPD initiatives by using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to create an interactive feedback tool for higher education teachers.

• Create an overview of effective teaching design principles in higher education based on the scientific literature and teaching practices. • Support higher education teachers to improve their teaching practices. • Design, implement and sustain an open access interactive repository for teachers and CPD providers in higher education. • Design, validate, implement, evaluate, redesign and sustain an AI feedback tool for teachers and CPD providers in higher education.
▶Impact
• An open-access interactive repository with design principles for effective teaching in higher education, good examples of higher education teaching, a research library on higher education teaching, and a community of experts in higher education teaching who can support teachers in examining their teaching practice. • A prototype of a validated open access AI-driven feedback tool for higher education teachers and CPD providers to strengthen teaching practice in European higher education.
