The "NextGen" project aims to: Bridge the accessibility and engagement gap for youth with fewer opportunities in distanced communities; Foster hubs for participation and creation; Enhance digital literacy; Create a digital space for youth to connect, collaborate, to voice their ideas and needs; Enable stakeholders to understand and address the specific needs and challenges of youth distanced from mainstream urban life, ensuring that responding services are relevant and effective.

The project will assess community needs through dialogue with youth living in distanced communities, develop hubs for youth engagement and co-creation, empower youth with new knowledge and skills, launch an interactive digital platform for broader reach, conduct capacity-building for organisations and decision makers, and run campaigns highlighting youth engagement importance and challenges in distanced communities.
