▶Summary
By implementing the project, we want to improve the ecological competences of young people in terms of knowledge, skills and attitude. We aim to change the approach of partner schools’ students towards ecology. We want them to make conscious and responsible decisions that are good for them and local communities. We intend to improve the quality of life today, but above all, to develop attitudes that will preserve clean, natural environment for future generations.
▶Objectives
By implementing the project, we want to improve the ecological competences of young people in terms of knowledge, skills and attitude. We aim to change the approach of partner schools’ students towards ecology. We want them to make conscious and responsible decisions that are good for them and local communities. We intend to improve the quality of life today, but above all, to develop attitudes that will preserve clean, natural environment for future generations.
▶Activities
Young people will examine the condition of the environment - water, soil and air and learn how to protect it. They will undertake initiatives addressed to their peers and local communities - these will include educational and outdoor games, educational films, artistic activities, crops and ecological corners. Teachers will exchange experiences, and young people will learn teamwork and develop their self-esteem thanks to peer education.
▶Impact
During the project activities, we intend to develop teaching tools that teachers and students will be able to use in their actions promoting ecological attitudes. Through the project activities addressed to students, we want to improve their knowledge and change attitudes regarding ecology. However, regional conferences organized in each partner country will expand these impacts to the entire local environment.
