DEEPBIOTECH will act as a catalyst for life science universities and innovation producers and will: 1) Transform life science higher education and research to become modern, entrepreneurial, digital and engaged. 2) Support life science students and entrepreneurs to immerse deep tech in their life science startups. 3) Facilitate life science spinoffs and technology transfer via deep tech innovations and trigger economic, environmental and social impacts.

DEEPBIOTECH will implement the following activities: 1. Develop 6 deep tech enabled life science entrepreneurship course & micro-credentials. 2. Develop a toolkit for life science university transformation (HEINNOVATE based) and entrepreneurial teaching (EntreComp) & micro-credentials. 3. Develop a platform for deep tech immersion in life science innovations and match-making with impact investors. 4. Organise 4 hackatons. 5. Facilitate dissemination, outreach and awards.

* 300 certified students on deep tech enabled life science entrepreneurship * 150 certified university lecturers (on entrepreneurial teaching) and university administrators * 150 users of the deep tech platform. * 10 life science innovations/startups in advanced discussions with impact investors. * 2 student/researcher life science startups/innovations acquiring at least 50 000 EUR * 4 hackatons with 100 participant * 5 open days with 250 participants
