Objectives

The project aims to strengthen cooperation among partner institutions and share expertise in waste management technology and innovative biomaterial production for environmental applications. It focuses on creating innovative teaching materials about utilizing biomaterials from pulp and paper industry waste, a global innovation with diverse economic applications. Additionally the project focuses on enrichment of the educational offer previously unavailable both in the leader and partners.

Activities

The project will create innovative teaching materials, summarizing knowledge from partner universities about using biomaterials obtained from industrial waste. Partner universities will audit their solutions, and this information will be used to develop a joint strategy for managing bio-component-containing waste. This strategy will serve as the foundation for innovative teaching materials designed for students and enrichment of the educational offer.

Impact

Results include a shared strategy for potential waste biomaterial usage, teaching materials like films, e-scripts, online tests, and presentations, along with pilot classes for students and high school students. The project will also establish a network among HEIs and integrate developed materials into HEI curricula as elective courses.The project's teaching materials will encompass cutting-edge knowledge in waste management and bio-waste processing.
