▶Objectives
Hydrogen emerged as a promising alternative to fossil fuels. The transport and storage of hydrogen presents significant technical challenges. Therefore, the education of future specialists in this field has a vital role in meeting future requirements of the market and EU hydrogen strategy. This project will help in developing solution for the compliance of future engineering programmes with EU hydrogen strategy and identify key qualifications and skills for the education of 'future engineers'.
▶Activities
- Identify similarities and differences in curricula related to hydrogen value chain in the Project partners` countries - Build an e-platform for the exchange of experience with guidelines related to teaching content - Develop policy recommendations and economic/environmental assessment to include in curricula - Create a Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) on the large-scale hydrogen transport and storage - Conduct a broad dissemination campaign of project results
▶Impact
- Exchange of education experience related to hydrogen large-scale transport and storage in various EU countries and regions, - Identification of key qualifications and skills for the education of engineers in the field of geoengineering, geology and industrial and mechanical engineering that have sufficient knowledge on transport and storage of hydrogen, - Unification of engineering curricula with EU hydrogen strategy.
