Objectives

• Promote a more inclusive learning environment for children with ASD • Empowerment of children with ASD and their families through promoting their independence, and developing their social, personal skills as well as their mental and physical well-being. • Promote teachers’ continuous professional development, while at the same time supporting the digital transformation plans of education • Promotion of transnational collaboration and raising awareness for human rights

Activities

• INNOVATIVE FORUMS in order to verify the gaps identified, and to develop targeted resources and results. • A TRANSNATIONAL TRAINING MOBILITY FOR AMBASSADORS of the AiM programme, along with NATIONAL UPSKILLING TRAINING FOR EDUCATORS and INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS for learners with ASD. • Raising awareness activities such as LAUNCHING DAYS and FAIRS to increase project outreach and engagement of project beneficiaries, community stakeholders and the general public.

Impact

• A VALIDATED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME FOR EDUCATORS to develop their competencies to support children with ASD and their families • An AiM EDUCATIONAL PACK TO SUPPORT CHILDREN WITH ASD AND THEIR FAMILIES through VR GAMES and CUSTOM-MADE GAME COLLECTION targeting their physical and mental wellbeing. • DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION PLAN outlines all promoting actions (online/ offline) • POLICY RECCOMENDATIONS to improve inclusivity and accessibility for learners with ASD.
