We BLUE aims to educate our students about sea pollution which is one of the most significant contributors to climate change, especially for those of us who live in coastal cities. We want to raise awareness among our target groups by taking some concrete actions that will contribute to the European Green Deal and the transition to becoming carbon neutral by 2050. Our goal is to engage children in the topic, inspire them to take action, instill in them a sense of hope for life and unite efforts

Each country will address to a different aspect of sea pollution and implement different engaging activities in mobilities. There will be various presentations, dramas, workshops requiring digital skills and manual labor and, educational visits to municipalities, museums, sea sports clubs and fishery villages. Each activity will be devoted to the understanding of the vital effect of sea pollution which will finally help our target groups grasp the real meaning of climate change in their lives.

We expect We BLUE to raise awareness among our target groups by enjoyable practices. We expect them to learn, interact, get inspired, then create some tangible material using their digital skills and be part of the solution as well as being a European citizen. By the application created by the students with their teachers' help, our students will develop both their green and digital skills. We BLUE will also support the EU Green Deal by building knowledge, skills and attitudes on climate change.
