Objectives

The primary goal of the ReACT project is to enhance the well-being and mental health of researchers by developing and implementing a web-based psychoeducational program, following the psychological flexibility model. Through collaboration, research, and dissemination activities, ReACT aims to address the challenges of work-related stress and promote a supportive and inclusive culture within higher education institutions, ultimately improving the quality of life of researchers.

Activities

The key activities include conducting a state of the art systematic review, publishing it in a peer-reviewed journal, creating a web-based psychoeducational platform and program, piloting it, testing the effectiveness of the program, and providing policy recommendations for HE institutions. These activities aim to address the project's objectives effectively and ensure the successful implementation of evidence-based interventions to support researcher well-being.

Impact

The main results of the ReACT project will be: a published manuscript, 2 research reports, a multilingual web-based interactive platform, a questionnaire for assessing the platform’s effectiveness, a policy recommendations document, 5 local multiplier events, one final conference. Other outcomes will be increased awareness and understanding of mental health challenges among researchers and access to resources for tackling these issues, as well as long-term impact on HE institutions.
