The project will improve reading literacy of pupils through creative and interactive approaches, strengthen cooperation between stakeholders in education by cross-border connecting of Bistrica ob Sotli and Kumrovec primary schools. By focusing on pupils (9-12 y) with fewer opportunities, we follow the priority task of 'inclusion and diversity' and develop key competences. We will connect reading with animation to strengthen digital skills.Teachers will gain new approaches to reading motivation.

The project includes 3 international mobilities for pupils (9-12 y) with story animation and a reading adventure in nature, 3 international mobilities for staff with professional training, an animation and gamification workshop. We will exchange good practices and develop new approaches to increase pupils’ reading motivation and create a more welcoming environment in the library.The results will be disseminated to the educators, librarians, local community and decision-makers media.

Expected results will be a Project publication with guidelines (print and e-book). We will publish 4 animations of the read stories on the Arnes Video platform.The various reading approaches, which we will test and recognize as successful, will be included in the annual work plan of the schools after the project is finished. An increase in student visits to the library and an increase in borrowing are expected. Teachers will be supported with new competencies through the project.
