Our project aims to revolutionise vocational education and training (VET) by prioritising self-assessment in teaching methodologies, enhancing VET teachers' competencies to integrate self-assessment techniques effectively. We seek to foster an environment that promotes self-regulation, critical thinking, and lifelong learning skills among students, thereby aligning education with the dynamic demands of the professional world.

We will implement several key activities, including the development of a self-assessment playbook for VET teachers, tailored training programs to enhance teachers' integration of self-assessment methods, and pilot projects to apply these strategies in real-world settings. Additionally, we will create self-assessment examples and templates, and conduct widespread dissemination and events to share project results with local and international educational communities.

We anticipate our project will significantly improve VET teachers' competencies in implementing self-assessment strategies, leading to enhanced student self-regulation and lifelong learning skills. The creation and dissemination of a self-assessment playbook, training programs, and practical tools will foster a sustainable improvement in VET pedagogy, contributing to the development of adaptive, resilient learners prepared for the evolving demands of the professional world.
