1. Enhancing the effectiveness of youth work by providing high-quality learning opportunities for youth workers 2. Supporting the professional development of youth workers to develop future thinking, having the skills and knowledge to deal with the future 3.Increasing capacities of youth workers to train young people to be future ready too 4. Making “FutureMe” a state-of-art training 5. Equipping young people with future-ready skills to be more proactive and resilient in creating their future
▶Activities
- Developing a face-to-face training to equip youth workers with “Skills for the Future” - Creating a train-the-trainer programme so youth workers can teach these skills to young people - Pilot testing the training at the international and national level - Adapting both trainings into a self-study interactive online programme on a Learning management System - Pilot testing the online training at national and international levels - Promoting the training locally, nationally, and internationally
▶Impact
• 2 Curricula with 13 modules including training materials available as face-to-face and online self-study versions in 5 languages •Pilot testing of face-to-face version in LttA with 20 youth workers • 5 trained youth workers per country provide the training for at at least 25 young people • eTraining course on LMS • Online pilot of eTraining with 100 youth workers, 80 earning certificates • Promotion materials, 4 national, 1 international multiplier event • participants being future ready
