▶Objectives
The aim of EDP-VET is to empower VET students and teachers to actively engage in the Twin Transition by fostering the integration of sustainable digital practices into their learning and professional environments. This will be achieved through collaboration among the partnership enabling the development of innovative solutions that reduce the environmental impact of digital technologies, promote the circular economy, and align with the goals of the European Green Deal.
▶Activities
The EDP-VET activities will be: A1. Management and development of the Project Website A2. EDP-VET training Package A3. EDP-VET Hackathon in Portugal involving 3 VET students and 1 teacher per partner A4. EDP-VET Awareness Campaigns in each country of the partnership with the participation of the associated partners (cutting edge entrepreneurs associations, directors and inspectos of education associations, VET schools, civil society organitazations, pulbic bodies in charge of education,etc.)
▶Impact
-VET teachers trained in sustainable digital practices, integrating these topics into their teaching. -A dynamic training package with innovative tools, activities, and methodologies focused on sustainability and digital skills. -VET students empowered with critical skills to adopt sustainable digital behaviors in personal and professional settings, becoming responsible users. -An educational community more aware of the importance of sustainability in digital education.
