Introduce students from areas with little connection to the center of Europe to a different culture, and discuss their points of convergence. Discover the political institutions of the European Union and the history of these territories. Encourage young people from two peripheral areas of the European Union to debate two social issues: the place of digital technology in democracy, and young people and climate change.

Activity 1: meeting with management and steering teams; Activity 2: work in virtual classes (4 sessions) on the Strasbourg trip; Activity 3: meeting with classes in Strasbourg on the issue of digital democracy; Activity 4: virtual classes (4 sessions) on the trip to Brussels; Activity 5: classes meet in Brussels to discuss climate change.

On the one hand, we expect students to better understand the workings of European institutions and their role in major social issues. On the other hand, we expect students to engage in these debates, taking into account the points of view of both sides. We want them to understand their role as citizens of the European Union. Finally, by meeting students who are geographically and culturally distant, we expect them to open up to others.
