Climate-Smart Agriculture
โถObjectives
The project aims to enhance awareness of Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA), integrate climate change into agricultural education, and improve teacher competence. It seeks to support local farming communities by promoting sustainable practices, reducing environmental impacts, and enhancing productivity. Additionally, the project focuses on incorporating AI and Agriculture 4.0 into CSA, ensuring vocational students and educators are equipped for modern agricultural challenges.
โถActivities
We will implement five activities: three face-to-face trainings in different countries and two on-site activities carried out by each partner. The activities include developing CSA tools like sourcebooks, toolkits, educational videos, and hosting workshops. We will engage stakeholders, assess needs, create educational content, pilot it locally, gather feedback, and disseminate the materials to ensure practical implementation in vocational agricultural education.
โถImpact
We expect increased awareness and competence in Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) among teachers, students, and local farmers. Outputs include CSA toolkits, sourcebooks, and educational materials, enhancing VET curricula. Teachers will gain skills in CSA, AI, and Agriculture 4.0. Local agricultural communities will benefit from sustainable practices, reducing environmental impacts while increasing yields. Dissemination will ensure wide-scale adoption of CSA practices.
