Objectives

This project aims to promote environmental literacy, advance education on sustainability, and encourage active participation in eco-friendly practices. Through hands-on, nature-based activities, it focuses on developing key competencies, particularly transversal skills (critical thinking, communication, social skills, teamwork, problem-solving, entrepreneurship) in students. The creation of educational materials ensures a long-term, broad impact on schools, students, and educators alike.

Activities

Four handbooks (also translated to local languages) to provide educators with effective strategies for teaching sustainability, offering lesson plans and nature-based activities designed to enhance students' key competences. These will be widely disseminated. A transnational kick-off meeting of teachers. Three student mobility programs (LTTs) to foster student motivation and engagement, while enhancing cultural awareness, multilingualism, citizenship, and social competences.

Impact

Raising awareness in the field of sustainable environmental awareness for direct and indirect participants. Development of green literacy, and key competences as defined by the European framework of Key Competences for Lifelong Learning. Increased student motivation, cultural awareness, multilingual skills, strengthened citizenship and social competences across diverse settings. Increased collaboration, shared learning, rich pool of tools and resources for environmental teaching for teachers.
