Objectives

The ‘ASK: AI Supported Knowledge for Accessibility’ project aims to enhance educators' digital competencies by integrating AI tools, particularly ChatGPT, into inclusive education. It seeks to equip teachers with practical strategies to apply AI-driven accessibility solutions in the classroom, fostering the inclusion and autonomy of students with disabilities and promoting equal participation for all learners.

Activities

Project activities are as follows: - Organise a focus group to gather insights from educators on integrating AI, specifically ChatGPT, into inclusive education. - Conduct workshops where teachers experiment with AI tools to refine and implement strategies for classroom accessibility. - Develop a multilingual guide to support educators in applying AI tools for inclusive education. - Implement AI-based strategies in classrooms through trials and training to assess their impact on accessibility.

Impact

The expected results of the project include: - Increased Educator Competence: Teachers will gain skills in integrating AI, specifically ChatGPT, into inclusive educational practices. - Development of Resources: A comprehensive AI guide in three languages will be created, providing accessible strategies for educators. - AI Tool Implementation: Teachers will use refined AI tools in classrooms, fostering accessibility for students with disabilities.
