This project seeks to increase understanding of the hurdles associated with the science popularisation and the health literacy sector, involve adults in dynamic training endeavors, foster the sharing of effective educational approaches, create resources for educators and trainers, enhance the caliber and inclusivity of educational endeavors, and promote awareness of science popularisation and health education for adult people among both the broader public and educational participants.
βΆActivities
The project tentatively foresees: three project meetings (Spain, March 2025; Netherlands, September 2025; Netherlands, November 2025), a training seminar (Lithuania, June/July 2025). The project meetings include short training activities and facilitated discussions to empower the partners' skills. Thanks to virtual cooperation, a collection of Wikipedia articles, and of a collection of specialised scientific articles, along with useful training materials, will be realised, collected and shared.
βΆImpact
This project is anticipated to promote the sharing of improved educational methodologies among participating organisations (international meetings), enhance the educators' skills (training activities), develop resources and materials for trainers and educators (collection of Wikipedia articles; collection of scientific articles; training materials). Overall, this initiative will raise awareness and improve the quality of educational activities on science popularisation and health education.
