Objectives

The main objective of the project is to train 20 seniors to gain essential digital skills and become Digital Ambassadors, promoting a peer-to-peer learning model. We aim to foster intergenerational collaboration by creating supportive learning spaces for seniors. Our goal is to reduce social isolation by empowering seniors to confidently use digital tools, enhancing their participation in social and civic activities within their communities.

Activities

We will implement an intensive digital literacy program for 20 seniors in Poland and Spain, followed by training them as mentors. Local learning spaces will be developed where seniors can practice and share their knowledge. Educational resources, including manuals and tutorials tailored to seniors' needs, will be created. Additionally, intergenerational collaboration initiatives will be promoted, where younger individuals assist seniors in their digital training.

Impact

We expect that 20 seniors will become Digital Ambassadors, mentoring at least 40 seniors, enhancing the digital skills of 60 seniors in total. A specialized digital literacy curriculum will be created and made available in community learning centers. The project will foster increased participation of seniors in social and civic activities, reducing isolation. Additionally, a sustainable peer-to-peer learning model will be established, ensuring continued digital support beyond the project.
