Objectives

The project strengthens the competencies of the vulnerable group (migrant women) and VET teachers, and educators with a goal to help as fast as possible migrant women to integrate into the labour market. The objectives of the project are: - To improve social integration and civic engagement of migrant women through the development of professional skills, and entrepreneurship competencies; - To improve VET teachers' understanding how migrant women existing professional skills could be developed

Activities

- Migrant women mentoring program through professional skills development - Online course - successful professional skills adaptation in the host country - Seminar to encourage VET teachers to support migrant women through skills development courses - Workshop for migrant women on how to establish their businesses and gain skills necessary to enter the local and EU labour market - Dissemination activities

Impact

- We expect that the migrant women mentoring program/workshop for professional skills development will be supported 50 migrant women - The project website will demonstrate the importance of inclusion and provide an example of successful job skills adaptation in the host country (200 visitors) - results from seminars to encourage VET teachers to support migrant women through skills development courses (50 VET teachers) - indirectly will be reached more than 200 stakeholders
