▶Objectives
The InspireSTEAM project aims to actively engage students in an interdisciplinary STEAM curriculum. By fostering collaboration among teachers from Romania, Greece, Turkey, and Croatia, the project seeks to create a supportive learning environment where students can explore complex concepts through hands-on activities and project-based learning. Additionally, the project emphasizes the importance of environmental awareness, encouraging students to consider sustainable practices.
▶Activities
The InspireSTEAM project will span 18 months and involve a variety of engaging activities designed to develop critical skills among students and teachers. The project consists of 4 physical mobilities, 3 blended mobilities, and 1 virtual TPM, involving collaboration among partners from Romania, Greece, Turkey, and Croatia. In addition to these mobilities, the project will incorporate numerous local activities like collaborative workshops or STEAM challenges that enrich the learning experience.
▶Impact
The students and also teachers will be up-to-date on new research on STEAM, environmental issues and new curriculum resources.The intended activities like interactive displays, contests or STEAM showcases will equip EU pupils with knowledge and skills to gain a broader understanding of how STEAM are interconnected.The development of a STEAM Lesson Plan Repository will provide educators with valuable resources, promoting best practices across partner schools.
