Objectives

The gen. objective is to improve the participation of marginalised adults in active citizenship actions. Spec. objectives: Raising awareness among marginalised adults about the importance of lifelong learning and the development of the “Personal, Social and Learning to Learn” competence Promoting intergenerational learning practices between marginalised adults and young people Increasing the capacity of educators to design learning pathways to promote active citizenship for marginalised adults

Activities

The project expects the implementation of 4 macro-activities: - Project management activities; - Developing a handbook for adult educators on integrating intergenerational learning practices in training for marginalised adults; - Developing a toolkit on training strategies to activate marginalised adults in undertaking active citizenship behaviours and actions in real-life contexts; - Dissemination activities aimed to promote project results.

Impact

The project expects the realisation of two practical results (outputs): A1: A handbook for adult educators on integrating intergenerational learning practices in training for marginalised adults. It aims to increase mutual knowledge and trust between marginalised adults and local youth. A2: A toolkit on training strategies to activate marginalised adults in undertaking active citizenship behaviours and actions in real-life contexts.
