▶Objectives
The aim of the project is to develop policy recommendations that will increase the participation of young immigrants in the workforce. By analysing the current integration models and conducting field research in Turkey, we aim to provide concrete solutions that will facilitate the participation of immigrants in the workforce. Another objective of the project is to ensure that integration policies are more inclusive and sustainable by collaborating with local and national policymakers.
▶Activities
WP2: Field Research, Literature Review and Reporting:Field research will be conducted on the participation of young immigrants in the workforce and the attitudes of employers, and existing practices will be analysed. WP3: Practical Information Platform: A digital platform will be created to provide informative content for young migrants and employers. WP4: Mechanism Proposals and Project Dissemination Activities:Policy proposals will be developed, discussed in stakeholder meetings and finalized.
▶Impact
Research and Reports: Reports will be prepared based on field research, detailing the challenges migrants face in the labor and employers’ attitudes. Policy Recommendations and Mechanisms: Concrete, applicable policy recommendations and mechanisms will be developed to increase the labor force participation of immigrants. Digital Information Platform: A digital platform will be created that provides guiding content for immigrants and employers and facilitates labor force participation processes.
