Objectives

The FAIR project aims to support professionals in adult education in developing innovative digital learning formats using AI. To achieve this, three experienced project partners are creating a free, accessible, and openly licensed online self-learning course (EN/DE). In this course, participants will learn how to design a suitable digital format for their specific topic with the help of AI. Collaborating organizations contribute to the development and dissemination of the course.

Activities

We will compile our experiences, research resources and existing needs assessments, ask adult educators about their needs in an online survey, and develop a preliminary concept for the online self-learning course. We will create the modules and content, produce materials, and provide the course on the QUA-LiS NRW Moodle platform. The target group will test it and give feedback, which we will use to make improvements before publishing the final version.

Impact

The project result is a final, quality-assured, free, accessible, and openly licensed online self-learning course (EN/DE) with at least four modules (per module: 1 video plus additional activities, resources, and quizzes). The course will be available for self-enrolment on the Moodle platform of QUA-LiS NRW. Organizations wishing to integrate it into their own systems can easily download and implement all learning packages. The partial project results are described in the activities.
