This project aims to deepen service-learning (SL) as a powerful pedagogical approach to foster competences for democratic culture in European higher education. Strengthening democratic life & enhancing democratic competences are key priorities for the EU & higher education plays a crucial role advancing these goals. We highlight SL as an innovative method to integrate civic education in the curriculum, empowering students, civic actors & institutions to actively contribute to democratic culture.
