Objectives

The project aims at reinforcing the resilience of health & social care (HSC) institutes against cybercrimes by: increasing awareness against cyber threats; improving students and HSC professionals’ digital skills and cybersecurity knowledge through the deployment of an innovative training program. The SHIELD training will be supplemented by a technological gamified environments for users to put their newly acquired knowledge to practices and acquire a proper cybersecurity posture.

Activities

We will implement the following main activities: Manage the project according with E+ guidelines; Developing SHIELD training curriculum and technological gameified enviroment 6 pilot sites testing of SHIELD training program (E-Platfrom and Mobile App) engage and train 193 studends and HSC professionals (with micro-credentials delivery) Exploit project results through multiplier events to share SHIELD potential across the HSC sector to make it more reselient to cyber-attacks.

Impact

SHIELD will raise awareness on cybersecurity risks and develop an innovative learning program, to equipe students and HSC practitioners with the proper cybersecurity skills and knowledge. To do so the project will produce the proper guidelines, framework, training contents and innovative technological tools (such as SHIELD gamified e-Learning Platform and Mobile App).
