Objectives

The project aims to build resilient communities that foster integration and combat hate speech through youth involvement and tailored local interventions. Key objectives include empowering volunteers to implement sustainable initiatives and local campaigns, raising awareness about the diversity and the role of communities. The project seeks to transfer knowledge among partners to make them even better agents of societal change and support mutual understanding based on respect for diversity.

Activities

The project will implement several activities:1. International capacity-building meetings for youth and staff from partner organizations, 2. Local campaigns with focus on creating alternative narratives to combat hate speech, 3. Platform established to share anonymized and dramatized stories, 4. Hands-on training sessions to equip participants with skills to establish and maintain networks and 5. Educational sessions on how to increase resilience against hate speech for youth and social workers

Impact

30 participants at each international meeting, 1. Knowledge transfer among the partners on a) Creating campaigns while using alternative narratives, b) How to evaluate the campaigns, 2. Joint Strategy/Action Plan for Local Campaigns, c) on innovative methods in youth work and community work, d) on how to build and maintain resilient communities and networks, 494 participants involved in local campaigns, 6 workshops in all partner countries for 124 participants (youth workers and social workers).
