▶Objectives
The project promotes the exchange between the three organisations on good practice approaches to urban design, political participation and the activation of civil society. The learning opportunities developed from this aim to empower citizens of different generations to get involved in local political processes, build neighbourhood initiatives and actively help shape their cities - for a change towards liveable, climate-friendly cities.
▶Activities
In addition to project management, the activities include a kick-off meeting at the Urbanize Festival in Vienna as well as digital meetings, the conceptualisation and implementation of learning opportunities on various topics in the fields of mobility, urban planning and civil society engagement (4x digital, 2x on site in Berlin and Ljubljana with recording), the documentation and preparation of results as well as the publication and dissemination of project results and learning materials.
▶Impact
The result is a training toolbox for City Changers, consisting of a series of seminars that can be repeated individually and is also available as an online archive, accompanying material for download in text, image and video, social media preparation of the learning content and a project manual for trainers. These can also be used by the target groups after the end of the project.
