Objectives

DigiCollab aims to promote digital skills, sustainability and inclusion in vocational education and training (VET). It introduces hackathons as an innovative, hands-on learning method to equip students with the skills needed for tomorrow's world of work. Teachers are given tools to integrate new methods, and collaboration between educational institutions, NGOs and industry is strengthened.

Activities

The project involves developing a multilingual hackathon guide with templates and evaluation tools, organising pilot hackathons in three countries and an international hackathon in Turkey. In addition, LTT activities and workshops for teachers will be held to strengthen their skills in organising and running hackathons. Results will be published as open-source resources and disseminated through an international network.

Impact

The project strengthens digital, social and technical skills, integrates sustainability and inclusion into vocational education and training, and increases the attractiveness of VET institutions. The hackathon guide enables long-term use, and cross-sectoral cooperation promotes the development of innovative approaches. An international network facilitates the exchange of best practices and increases the relevance of vocational education and training across Europe.
