▶Objectives
To live up to our status as an environmental school, we are constantly on the lookout for innovative topics and content to fight climate change. In the current project, we are tackling this by planning, producing and manufacturing functioning vehicle models with alternative drive systems. By disseminating the results of the project through documentation on how to replicate the models, we would also like to inspire others to engage with the topic of environmental protection.
▶Activities
Within the four activities, the participants will look at different, environmentally friendly drive types for vehicles. Specifically, these are drives using supercompensation, hydrogen gas, saltwater fuel cells and photovoltaics. Therefore, the participants develop vehicle models that are each powered by one of these drive technologies. Participants will also gain insights into the state of the art and the environmental situation in other countries.
▶Impact
The main objectives are the production of functioning vehicle models and transparent documentation on their development and the possibilities for implementing these drive types in road traffic. The documentation and the resulting models should help to disseminate the project results. This should inspire our target groups to become active in the field of alternative drive systems through electromobility and thus make their contribution to environmental protection.
