▶Objectives
We aim to create a modern course offering to strengthen Baby Boomers' and Generation X’s literacy in digital financial services. Learning materials are provided digitally, with both online and offline support. Our focus is on lifelong learning through a blended learning approach. While this may seem counterintuitive, we believe that only through active engagement with IT can familiarity be fostered, leading to greater awareness of digital risks and a more confident use of financial technologies.
▶Activities
To achieve the goals, coordinated activities will be carried out step by step. The needs analysis for the target group has already been completed. Based on this, modern courses for the development of aspects in digital financial literacy will be developed. After implementation and testing, the courses will be evaluated for their effectiveness. With the results and revision following feedback from the analysis, OER will be developed to drive the dissemination of the project results.
▶Impact
In addition to the content-related and teaching objectives, the project will develop a partner network in order to create appropriate support services for the courses in European cities and communities. Furthermore, we expect a steady course development, so that in addition to the previously planned beginner modules, further deepened. In addition, the various underlying national specifics in the regulatory framework and social networks are taken into account for the coursesdevelopment.
