- Raise awareness about food waste and sustainable consumption in Germany and Greece. - Empower students to develop digital solutions to reduce food waste. - Promote intercultural exchange and international teamwork. - Provide basic knowledge of app development by creating an application on the topic of food waste.
▶Activities
The project explores food waste in Germany and Greece as part of a student exchange, comparing laws and incorporating SDGs. After research and interviews, students travel to Corfu, build a composting system, and develop apps that will prevent food waste. In Buxtehude, the app is developed with local partners. The results are publicly presented and digitally reflected upon to promote sustainable learning.
