▶Objectives
The aim of ENACT AI is to support partner organizations and other non-formal youth education institutions in developing their capacity to integrate AI into their educational offerings. In this way, we strengthen them to expand and further develop their role as a driving force for innovative democracy education. Through materials, training courses and action plans, new learning formats are sustainably anchored in the institutions and the engagement and participation of young people is promoted.
▶Activities
We combine expertise in democracy and digital education from four EU countries. We develop target group-oriented materials on AI in youth education, qualify specialists through a blended learning course and test youth events in practice. With action plans and stakeholder dialogues, we support institutions in the long-term anchoring of the offers. The overall package of toolbox, skills development and capacity building strengthens the organizations and youth engagement.
▶Impact
ENACT AI strengthens the capacity building and networking of non-formal educational institutions, equips them with a collection of materials, and supports them with training and consulting services for the critical reflection on and competent use of AI in democracy education within their organizations. The project also generates ideas for sustainable integration, international cooperation, and transfer. The results are illustrated in a manual and available as OER for use across the EU.
