The overall project aim is to uncover enhance community awareness, education, and engagement regarding the historic and modern role of mills in European society. Its specific objectives include: 1)Preserving and Documenting Cultural Heritage; 2)Fostering Civic Engagement and Participation; 3)Promoting Lifelong Learning and 21st-Century Skills; 4)Addressing Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change, hereby highlight the role of both historic and modern mills in green energy production;

Project plan has 5 activities defined covering management, explorative phase in collaboration with target group and lead by Museum of Supply and Sustainability; development of educational materials by the Ecomuseum Zagori, hands-on workshops and communication activities; 1)Project Management; 2)Data Collection and Analysis on Mills Knowledge in Local Society; 3)Development of the Educational Materials 4)Workshops and Inclusive Activities with Local Community; 5)Communication and Dissemination
▶Impact
The project will create a digital map of mills in Denmark and Greece, serving as an online database to document and share historical knowledge. This resource will be accessible to researchers, educators, and the general public. Additionally, the project will develop and test educational materials for adults through interactive workshops. These workshops will engage the public in learning about the historical significance of mills, highlighting their connection to renewable energy sources.
