Objectives

Home in Time and Tradition (HITT) is a project whose primary focus is on showing and demonstrating that tradition, and consequently, culture is something that is around us in everyday life, defines us as who we are and helps us interact with the world both at local, national and global level. We also want to increase the sense of belonging, of interest in preserving our heritage and in learning more about what is ours and what belongs to others, highlighting the similarities and differences.

Activities

The project is planned around 4 structural activities that depend on mobilities of students and teachers/staff: - Introdutory staff trainning meeting - Homes of the past - My town & My country - Today and tomorrow There is also mandatory to have planning online-meetings for monitoring every two months.

Impact

Videos showcasing the activities, products, study visits. Dictionary about "home". E-book compiling all the group activities, photos, discussions and conclusions. Discussion about UN Sustainable Development Goals and the school’s commitment to them across the curriculum. Discussion of the Goal no11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities). Lesson plans in each country language and in English. Social media and mass media dissemination. Model of houses, 3D printed and reusing waste materials.
